Supporting international students in many aspects of campus life

Ryuichiro Isono, Office of Center for International Programs

Our university has created the Fukuoka University International Exchange Student Volunteer Team, whose members provide support of various kinds to international students, including helping newly-enrolled international students sign up for courses and joining them on special study tours, while deepening exchange with them. In addition, our university offers credit-earning courses in Japanese and English for international students, as well as two scholarship programs of our own. Furthermore, various events are organized for international students, including welcome parties for freshmen and job fairs.
