About FISSC
The Fukuoka International Student Support Center (FISSC) offers comprehensive support to international students studying in Fukuoka Prefecture, to enable them to concentrate on learning without anxiety. Specifically, the FISSC provides international students with useful information to help them find part-time jobs, assist in their everyday lives and promote better communication with local residents. It also supports international students in finding employment at Japanese companies, and in creating networks among them after graduation.
In addition, by publicizing Fukuoka abroad, the FISSC seeks to attract and educate a variety of excellent human resources in Fukuoka. In so doing, the FISSC aims to nurture various human resources who will show their full abilities in Fukuoka and to produce personnel who will play active roles in the international community, while maintaining strong ties with Fukuoka Prefecture.
The FISSC is managed by its Administrative Council, supported by close partnerships among Fukuoka businesses, academia, and local governments and communities.
